Our world so far...

Paddy came along on 1st April 2010. Luckily Cooper was arriving that day so we all got to spend the first week of Paddy's life together.
For the last 8 weeks we have been getting to know our new little boy and we think we might have him worked out - well for now anyway. But we are slowly coming out of the fog that is your life when you have a newborn - thank goodness!

We moved into our new home in Maleny. It's a nice house on a little farm with room for Danny's horses. And being back at home in Maleny is just wonderful for me.

Paddy is getting bigger and bigger. He is starting to smile more now and likes talking to himself in his cot which is so cute. Our biggest achievement for the past week has been getting used to the cloth nappies - at the start he really didn't like them but he is starting to get used to them now.

Cooper had his birthday at the start of May and is now 11 years old. He is excelling at everything - in sport he is playing AFL and Rugby Union. And is doing incredibly well with his school work. Definitely a star. He will be up soon for June school holidays - Danny is going to try and teach him to ride.

Danny is riding every day which is great after such a long break. He is planning to play polo this season - having enough horses to play with is starting to be a bit of an issue.

And I am going through every day learning about being a Mum and loving it. I did a Frugal Housekeeping workshop in Maleny so that is my new fad at the moment. Hopefully this one will stick.

Right now I am listening to nothing. There is absolute silence in this house - Paddy just went down and Danny is reading the paper. It is pure bliss!

Talk to you tomorrow xoxo
